SIEGFRIED MÜLLER SOBRINHO

1983

Founded by German brothers Sigfried Müller Sobrinho and Walter Müller, in 1983, Colombo – Parana, Brazil. Maksiwa started producing woodworking machinery for small cabinet shops, with the mantra: “Helping Woodworkers Realize Their Dreams”.

2000

With the goal of continuous improvement, we acquired our first CNC lathe in 2000, initiating a process of quality improvements. With a reputation of quality products and services established, Maksiwa started to expand its trade relations with other countries through imports.

2012

With the addition of new lines and machines in our portfolio, Maksiwa expanded their distribution centers in Sao Paulo, Curitiba and later in Pompano Beach, FL USA totalizing 250.000sq.ft. This allowed us to cut transit time, better serve our partners, customers and develop new partnerships in Central and North America, as well Europe and Africa.

2013

In 2013, we partnered with Ryobi and became their exclusive brand representative in Brazil.

2015

Maksiwa becomes the leading manufacturer in Brazil and begins export to South and Central America, Portugal, Angola, Mozambique. In 2015 Maksiwa entered the United States market offering a vast line of products capitalizing on our top selling machines; the portable edgebander and edge trimmer. Maksiwa USA inventories a vast amount of machines and provides support with parts inventory in our Pompano Beach, Florida facility.

TODAY

Today Maksiwa has more than 1.200 distributors throughout Brazil and countries where it operates.

EVENTS AND TRADE SHOWS

We have participated in the largest woodwork machinery fairs all over the world. Our goal is to promote our machines and provide the best solutions to woodworkers.

We want the woodworkers to have full knowledge of our machines. Hands-on workshops are the best way to provide practical experience with our products.
